Roofing and Construction in Liberty, MO

Northland town of historic square brickwork, wooded lots and shallow limestone underfoot.

Liberty splits neatly in two. The streets around the historic square and William Jewell College hold nineteenth-century brick and frame homes — steep pitches, deep eaves, masonry chimneys and the odd slate or metal remnant under later shingle work. East of there, along the Withers Road corridor and out toward 291, is newer subdivision building with conventional asphalt roofs and attached garages.

Being north of the river matters more than people expect. Storm cells frequently split around the Missouri, so Liberty can take hail on a day the southern metro stays dry, or miss one entirely.

The older lots come with mature oaks close to the house and driveways that were never sized for a delivery truck, so material staging takes planning. Shallow limestone across much of the Northland also means less soil movement than in the clay-heavy eastern suburbs — chimney flashing here tends to fail from age and freeze-thaw rather than from the structure shifting.

Where we work in Liberty

What Liberty calls us for

Roof Replacement

Older homes near the square often hide several generations of roofing, including slate or metal, beneath the current shingles.

Storm Damage Repair

Northland hail tracks don't always match what hits south of the river, so Liberty damage is easy to overlook.

Siding

Freeze-thaw cycles on exposed north and west elevations work loose siding and trim on the older frame houses.
